Cyberpunk's endings

    SPOILERS AHEAD!

Cyberpunk, although being a buggy and glitchy mess, is a good game in my opinion, yeah many of us did not get what we wanted, but hey what we got let's judge on that, other than that let's talk about the endings in the game.

Well, it doesn't matter which path you choose, Nomad, Street kid or Cooperate, the story will be one, the choice of ending come to one mission, in the main storyline, the point of no return as I would like to call it, Nocturne Op55N1, where you gotta meet Hanako at Embers, and talking to her doesn't matter what your ending will be, after talking and leaving the building, when V enters the elevator, his relic will start to malfunction and he will collapse, so Johnny will take V to Vik's, and after you open your eyes in Vik's clinic, and talk to him, you follow Misty and then talk to her for a bit on the roof, and this is where you gotta make a decision, as Misty leaves, you gotta make a choice, first you gotta make a choice of either calling your love interest or not saying goodbye to them, after which you gotta make a choice of choosing your ending-

1. Arasaka Ending
2. Teaming up with Rogue
3. Calling Panam
4. Suicide

  • "Think trusting Arasaka's risky but worth it"
    • Will lead to an estate where you meet Hanako and Hellman from where you reach Araska's building and meet Saburao Araska's hologram and then make your way through to a meeting where Hanako says that Yorinobu should not be the CEO of Arasaka, revealing the who murdered Saburo Araska, and pass it on to you as you are the only eye witness of his murder.
    • And then Hanako will place Saburo's Construct in the Board meeting and his hologram will appear and he will share what happened on that day, and after convincing the board, Hanako asks if there are any objections regarding the decision, but suddenly the alarms go off, to no surprise Yourinobu sent soldiers, so now you gotta fight those and after fending them off, you talk to Hanako, where she asks you to take control of Araska Tower a capture Yorinobu.

    • From where you go off to upper levels of the building and fight off enemies and mechs, and once you reach the elevator, Takemaru asks you to clear off upper floors with stealth or by force, to which it's your choice to do so. After clearing off three floors, you gotta fight Adam Smasher, Yorinobu's most powerful soldier, a mercenary who killed Johnny Silverhand, and it can be really hard to defeat him, it is preferred to use grenades, quick hacks. After defeating him you confront him.
    • After confronting him, you make your way to Yorinobu, as you reach the door, your relic starts to malfunction, and you make your way to the final door crawling, and the door opens, and you confront Yorinobu who is lying on the floor, who's speaking in fear, explaining to V how fear played a part of his life to this. Hanako will appear and begin to console her brother.
    • Then you follow Hellman to a nearby elevator in which V's relic starts to malfunction and you go in a critical phase and pass out, after your collapse you wake up in an Arasaka Facility in a space station, where you are now free of Relic corrupting your construct and Johnny is no longer in your head. But the Relic caused major damage to your body, and several tests are performed on you.

    • After many of these tests, Takemura or Hellman will arrive to talk to V (Who will appear will be based on the choices you made in Play it Safe mission where you either failed to save Takemura or not), where they will inform you that you only have 6 months left to live and nothing can be done about it, so you are given a choice to either have your mind placed in Mikoshi, until you can be brought back or go back to Earth knowing you will die.
    • After which a cutscene will appear on the choice you made, giving your ming to Mikoshi or going back to Earth

  • "Think you and Rogue should go"
    • On V's decision to trust Johnny to infiltrate Araska Tower, where V will give control of his body to Johnny, by taking the Pills, after which you head inside the Afterlife and meet Rogue and follow her and tell about your plan. Talking to Rogue Johnny sits next to Rogue, in which he tells her the whole truth as to why he needs her help to raid Araska tower, after which you wake up in the backroom of Afterlife, having spent the night together, and sleeping for over 20 hours.
    • Then they gear up, take the weapons and such, once geared up and ready to continue you take the Shard, and Rogue explains how the plan will go, leading to Mikoshi, once all set up, you go to Netrunner's room, to ensure Alt is on your side after you plug in, and upon entering the Cyberspace Johnny calls out for Alt, and meet her, where the figure will reinforce that Alt is no more but a figment of Johnny's imagination, a defense mechanism.

    • After resurfacing from Cyberspace, and heading back to Rogue and head off to Arasaka, getting in the AV, and as you enter the AV, relic starts to malfunction, after which you talk to Rogue, where she shares her thoughts and will inform you to look at the sky, as Alt's inclusion in the plan starts to play. Where Alt takes down the Juroujin Satellite, and quickly not so long after Arasaka hit the AV and the engines start to fail, and Johnny and Rogue jumps off the crashing AV, and then you gotta save Weyland, after killing the guards, and save Weyland, after making him safe.
    • And then you follow Rogue to take down the Commanding officer, and take the Access token, heading towards the nearby elevator, to the Atrium, after which you gotta reach ground level, eliminate guards, and reach the security room, once the doors are opened and eliminate the guards there, and connect Alt to the System.
    • Giving Alt the control to the system, Alt manages to clear the path to the elevator and reach Mikoshi, but you encounter Adam Smasher, which kills Rogue, and now you gotta defeat Adam Smasher, after defeating him, you make your way to Mikoshi access point, as you make your way to the door, the Relic starts to malfunction, struggling to cope with a malfunction you make your way to data system in the middle of the room and jack in.
    • Awakening in a dream state, following the path to the roof of Vik's clinic, where you made your first decision, where you find V's necklace, picking it up and go into Cyberspace, where Johnny follows a bright yellow beam, up a staircase where he finds V and speaks with him/her where he/she tells you that the Soulkiller is having effects, and then Alt comes in the convo, saying that DNA reconfiguration has progressed too far, making it impossible to bring back V, no matter what, and now Johnny owns V's body.
    • After which Johnny has to make a decision, to either return to V's body, and gain full control, or go into Cyberspace with Alt, leaving V with only dome months left for V to live, this is where you gotta make a choice.
      • If you choose to return to V's body, you will wake up months after the Araska Raid, where V is not the King/Queen of the Afterlife, and you wake up next to Judy/Panam, after confronting your love interest about V's condition, an AV lands, to pull a heist on the Crystal Palace, with one final goodbye, after the ride, V arrives at the Afterlife in order to meet with the client for the heist, and have a drink with Claire, once finished, and as the heist starts, V is seen in space, and once you are ready, the air hatch opens and in the final cutscene V spacewalk towards the Crystal Palace Casino.

      • If you choose to go to Cyberspace with Alt, you find that Johnny is living in an abandoned apartment, and meet Steve, after that Johnny and Steve go on to get a guitar and then Johnny leaves the Night City once and for all.
  • "Gonna ask Panam for help"
    • You meet up with Aldecaldos, where the clan will help you breach through Arasaka's security, using the Basilisk tank, and eliminating the enemies, you, Panam, and Saul make your way to Arasaka Tower by drilling there, from where you gotta make your way to Mikoshi, and as you three make your way through the enemy forces, and mechs, and defeating them, and meet Adam Smasher, who kills Saul, so you both know kill Adam Smasher and confront him, and ending him, as you reach Mikoshi's data system your relic malfunctions, and you go in a critical condition but able to jack in into Cyberspace, and now you gotta make a choice, of living the life you have left or letting Johnny have the control of your body and go into Cyberspace with Alt.

      • If you choose to live the life you have left, V will return to his body only having some months to live. You open your eyes looking over Night City, with Panam, from where you both make your way to the outskirts of the city as you will be leaving Night City, and according to your love interest, they will also join V to leave Night City, you leave the Night City in the Basilisk tank, going over the final cutscene passing over a lake, and ending the game, this, in my opinion, is the best ending.

      • If you choose to go to Cyberspace with Alt, you find that Johnny is living in an abandoned apartment, and meet Steve, after that Johnny and Steve go on to get a guitar and then Johnny leaves the Night City once and for all.
  • "Could also put all this to rest"
    • In this ending, you make a suicide choice, as you choose this ending, and a cutscene will begin, in which you will see both V and Johnny, and agreeing to the choice, V and Johnny share their final words, and as the camera pans out, a gunshot can be heard, that V has taken his/her own life. And in the credits, video messages are seen, regarding the decision V has made.
